During the week of September 13-19, Cambridge-Isanti Schools is proud to recognize Adult Education and Family Literacy Week and celebrate the adult learners and educators who show us that learning can happen at every stage of life.
Through Cambridge-Isanti Adult Education, adults can build the skills they need to reach personal, educational and career goals. That may mean working toward a high school equivalency diploma, improving reading or math skills, strengthening English language skills, preparing for college or career training, or building the digital and workforce skills needed for today's world.
Adult Education is about more than completing a class or passing a test. The skills adults gain can help them feel more confident in everyday life, pursue new career opportunities, continue their education, support their families and become more connected to their communities.
Behind each of those steps are educators who meet learners where they are and help them move forward. Adult educators provide instruction, encouragement and support while recognizing that every learner brings different experiences, responsibilities and goals into the classroom.
We are grateful for the educators who make these opportunities possible and especially proud of the adults who choose to keep learning, growing and working toward their goals.
Whether you are returning to education after many years or simply ready to build a new skill, it is never too late to take the next step.
