What are the symptoms families should screen for?

Families and staff are asked to self-screen for symptoms of COVID daily. Please do not come to school if you have any of the following symptoms. Call your school Attendance Office and report symptoms.

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. See MN COVID-19 Response for more information. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

    • Fever (100.4) or chills
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea

If you have recently been in close contact with someone known to have COVID-19, have been told by a healthcare provider you have been exposed, or have tested positive, call your school Attendance Office.
