Meet the Principal
Mark Ziebarth, Principal
Email: mziebarth@c-ischools.org
Phone: 763-552-8801Welcome to Isanti Intermediate School and School For All Seasons! My name is Mark Ziebarth and I am lucky enough to be the principal of two outstanding schools located in the same building. We have been at our current location in Isanti, Minnesota since 2006, and I have been the principal since the building opened.
School For All Seasons is a Kindergarten through 5th grade Flexible Learning Year school that starts in August and has a focus on science, technology, environment, arts, and mathematics. We are an optional program and part of Cambridge-Isanti Public Schools. Students at School For All Seasons have science every day and tend to a school garden space and spend many hours outside learning about their environment.
Isanti Intermediate School services students in grades 3, 4, and 5 in the Isanti area. We are a school that believes in building students of character and providing our students with experiences that sharpen their skills and allow for exploring their interests. Our students participate in activities like building bird houses, creating “wax museums”, tending to a school garden, and doing a variety of hands-on science experiments. Each classroom has a well stocked classroom library of books for students to read that match their individual interests.
Our schools also sponsor a variety of events for students and their family members. We have a Bingo night, a Halloween Party, Spelling Bee, Reading and Math Nights, and a Spring Carnival. Our grade five students also have the option to participate in a field trip experience to Long Lake Conservation Center in Aitkin County. For many of our students this is the highlight of their elementary school experience.
Finally, our school has been selected as a PBIS Exemplary School by the Minnesota Department of Education for the work we do to build positive behavior supports and expectations for our students. Our efforts to “spread” kindness in our community involved messages of support on coffee cups and to our community. We are blessed with great community support and we are proud to be Bluejackets!

Bluejacket Pride
The staff at IIS/SFAS is dedicated to student success. For all of our students to learn and grow academically, socially, and personally, our building needs to be a positive place to learn and grow.
To help foster this positive learning community, IIS/SFAS has adopted a framework called Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Most students know PBIS as Bluejacket Pride. PBIS is a research based framework for promoting positive behaviors in schools and for determining and implementing interventions to help reduce specific discipline issues.

Visitors to C-I Schools
To comply with current public health orders, Cambridge-Isanti Schools will only allow essential visitors into our school buildings. While in our buildings, a mask must be worn at all times. Large group gatherings will occur virtually while under these public health orders.
Parents and Guardians may enter the main office to drop off or pick up a student. A mask must be worn while in the office. To facilitate the process, please call ahead to inform the office of your arrival time.
Essential Visitors (district staff, contractors) are required to wear a mask in our buildings at all times. You will be asked to verify your identity by showing office staff a form of photo identification such as a driver’s license or state ID card. Your ID will be scanned into our visitor management database and a photo visitor badge will be printed and used as your visitor credential for the day. You will be issued a colored lanyard with a plastic sleeve that will hold your credential. The lanyard must be placed around your neck with your visitor badge visible at all times during your visit. At the completion of your visit, you will be required to check back into the main office to return your visitor badge and to sign out as a visitor. Office staff will retain your photo ID for the duration of your visit. Your photo ID will be returned to you when you sign out as a visitor.
Please be aware that our staff has been trained to follow protocol and question visitors who are in the building and not wearing a mask and/or ID badge. Please be advised of school district POLICY #903 which outlines that an individual or group may be denied permission to visit a school if visitor(s) do not comply with the school district procedures or if the visit is not in the best interest of students, employees or the school district.
