• Transportation

    Our Mission

To provide the district with quality transportation service that is safe, professional and cost-effective so that the students we serve enhance their educational journey.

Transportation is responsible for coordinating bus routes throughout the 252 square mile District and scheduling students for school bus service. The District services approximately 5,200 students and over 16 schools/programs. The District includes the entire City of Cambridge and Isanti as well as many smaller communities.

    Bus Stop Information

Bus stop information is available on Family Access approximately one week before school begins and is updated on Family Access throughout the year. To register for Family Access, locate Family Access on the Quick Link above and follow the procedures indicated. The Bus Schedule tab is found on the student information page for each student in Family Access.

If you would like to request a change in your child's bus stop assignment, please complete the Alternate Site Change Request form located to the right and forward it to the Transportation Department. An alternate site is a location other than home that your child would need to be transported from or to. Scheduling may take up to 5 days.

*Please note: If you have moved and have a change of address, contact your school office to make the correct changes before contacting the Transportation Department. An alternate site request is not needed.*

    Buildings/Programs Served

The Cambridge-Isanti Schools Transportation Department serves all public and non-public schools within the district boundaries.  This includes the transportation of prek-12 students enrolled in one of Cambridge-Isanti Schools/programs and students who are enrolled outside the district schools at the Arts and Science Academy Charter School, Cambridge Christian School, and St. Scholastica Academy.
