Student After-School Pick-Up Procedures
Please review the process for safely picking up students at the end of the school day.
Parents, please remain in your cars during dismissal.
Kindergarten
- Kindergarten students are dismissed at 2:55.
- Kindergarten teachers will walk the students to the kindergarten parent pick-up area, located outside Door 21, west sidewalk headed south.
- Kindergarten parents: stay in your car and visually connect with your child’s teacher.
- Please do not exit your car.
1st & 2nd Grade
- Grade 1 students are dismissed at 2:50.
- Grade 2 students are dismissed at 2:45.
- Students will be walked out of the building by school staff. They will exit door 21 and line up along the school wall practicing social distancing.
- Parents should remain in their car and pick up their student using the pick-up lane. The pick-up lane is one lane, located next to the curb along the student loading and unloading zone.
- 1st & 2nd grade parents: Please do not park in the parent pick-up lane before 2:50 as the kindergarten students are still leaving school. Dismissal time is tiered to assist with the number of cars in the parking lot at one time.
Utilize the crosswalks at ALL times while walking from the parking lot. Please utilize the visitor parking spots located on Elm Street if you need to exit your car.
The drive up lane is only one lane, located right next to the curb.
All students need to be picked up by 3:10.
This video below will help to make you familiar with the procedures at Cambridge Primary School.
Thanks for your cooperation and understanding, as we strive to make the pick-up procedures safe for all students, parents and staff.
