About the Program

Mission:
The district is dedicated to supporting Native students and families. Building and strengthening culturally responsive education and community partnerships will support students' academic achievement, prepare them for the postsecondary path of their choosing, make curriculum relevant to their needs & culture, reinforce a positive self-image, and foster intercultural awareness for our students, staff, and community.

Services Offered:
Academic support - Students can work directly with our Coordinator for academic support.  1:1 tutoring services through a contracted agency grant are available upon request.

Cultural activities and Community engagement initiatives - Please refer to the Google Calendar below to check out upcoming events.

Advocacy - American Indian Education staff are available to support students and families with any school-related concerns.  Some examples could be questions about district services, attending IEP or 504 meetings (if not already included), student support check-ins, and coordinating/communicating student needs with teachers or staff.
