2017-2018 Goals

Reading Proficiency:

The Reading student achievement will increase from 269 students scoring at the Proficient (Meets or Exceeds) level in the Spring of 2017 to 358 students scoring at the Proficient (Meets or Exceeds) level in the Spring of 2018, as measured by MAP/NWEA grade level assessments Spring 2017 to Spring 2018.  

Math Proficiency: 

The Math student achievement will increase from 394 students scoring at the Proficient (Meets or Exceeds) level in the Spring of 2017 to 443 students scoring at the Proficient (Meets or Exceeds) level in the Spring of 2018, as measured by MAP/NWEA grade level assessments Spring 2017 to Spring 2018. 

Growth:

Staff will ensure academic growth in Reading and Math as measured by the number of students meeting or exceeding their Spring to Spring Growth as measured by MAP/NWEA grade level assessments.

Behavior:

CPS will reduce the number of students sent to the Resource Room by 15% in comparison with 2016-17.      

  • 2017 total number of Student incidents referred to Resource Room: 515 incidents
  • 2018 total number of Student Incidents referred to Resource Room: 438 incidents 

CPS will reduce the number of students referred for bus referrals 15% in comparison with 2016-17.

  • 2017 total number of student incidents referred for bus referrals: 198 incidents
  • 2018 total number of student Incidents referred for bus referrals: 168 incidents
Attendance:

CPS will reduce the number of students categorized with Chronic Attendance by 15%

(ESSA formula for Chronic Attendance = student absences occur 10% of total possible days)
