2017-2018 Goals

Reading Proficiency:

The Reading student achievement will increase from 486 students scoring at the Proficient (Meets or Exceeds) level in the Spring of 2017 to 622 students scoring at the Proficient (Meets or Exceeds) level in the Spring of 2018, as measured by MAP/NWEA grade level assessments Spring 2017 to Spring 2018.  

 

Math Proficiency: 

The Math student achievement will increase from 569 students scoring at the Proficient (Meets or Exceeds) level in the Spring of 2017 to 625 students scoring at the Proficient (Meets or Exceeds) level in the Spring of 2018, as measured by MAP/NWEA grade level assessments Spring 2017 to Spring 2018.  

 

Growth:

Staff will ensure academic growth in Reading and Math as measured by the number of students meeting or exceeding their Spring to Spring Growth as measured by MCA grade level assessments.

Behavior:

CIS will reduce the number of students referred for redirect/discipline by 5% in comparison with 2016-17. 

  • 2017 total number of student incidents referred to Stop and Think for physical contact: 1,504 incidents.
  • 2018 total number of student incidents referred to Stop and Think for physical contact: 1,428 incidents.
Attendance:

CIS will reduce the number of students categorized with Chronic Attendance by 10%

(ESSA formula for Chronic Attendance = student absences occur 10% of total possible days)

  • 2017 number of Students having Chronic Attendance: 41 Students.
  • 2018 number of Students having  Chronic Attendance: 32 Students.
