Students who are dropped off may enter the building no earlier than 7:40 a.m. They may go directly to breakfast or wait in the hall outside of the gymnasium by their teachers name. Staff will dismiss students to their classrooms at 8:00 a.m.
Students that arrive by bus can go directly to breakfast or to their classroom.
To avoid the end-of-the-day rush, students in kindergarten are escorted out of the building to the buses and parent pick up area (in front of door #21) at 2:45 p.m. 1st and 2nd graders meet in the Multi Purpose Room after school. School personnel supervise them and bring them out door #1 to be picked up at 3:00 p.m..
For children who need before or after school day care, contact the Adventure Center Program.
Students who are dropped off late (8:15 am or later) for any reason must be signed in at the office by the person dropping them off. Students will be given a late pass to give to their teacher.
Early Pick Up
It is helpful to send a note with your child to alert the teacher to a planned early pick up. If unable to so, a call during the day is also helpful.
- Only a parent or legal guardian is allowed to remove a child early from school.
- Emergency contacts cannot remove children early except for an emergency (sick, injury) when parents are unable to be reached.
- Anyone other than a parent/legal guardian must have prior approval via phone call, note or email to the teacher or office, with the name of the authorized adult.
- A photo ID (driver’s license, military ID) MUST BE PRESENTED TO OFFICE STAFF in order to remove your student from school early. This includes all parents, guardians, emergency contacts and any others authorized by a parent.
