Title 1

Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year! Cambridge-Isanti Primary and Intermediate Schools have an exciting opportunity this year.Through Cambridge-Isanti’s 2015 Federal Grant, The Title I staff now have the flexibility to assist ALL students in their area(s) of need in reading and math.In the past, Title I was only permitted to service those students who demonstrated need based on particular measures. With our new grant, we can service any student who may show a need in a specific skill area(s) based on a number of measures.

Your child may have the opportunity at some point this year to receive help in skills (or a specific skill) s/he may be struggling with.S/he will attend a 20-30 minute small group lesson outside of his/her regular classroom time or may be serviced in a small group or 1:1 within his/her classroom. These times are arranged so that they do not interfere with important core instruction in the regular classroom. This service may last only a few weeks or up to several months and may not be continuous.

The Title I Schools – The following schools are Title 1 schools within Cambridge-Isanti Schools

  • Cambridge Primary School
  • Isanti Primary School
  • School For All Seasons
  • Isanti Intermediate School
We are excited that you are taking the time to support your child’s learning through Title 1 services.

Our goal in Title 1 is to help children understand the basics of math and reading in order for them to be successful in their grade level classroom instruction.  It is important that we work together as parents, students, and teachers to ensure that your child reaches his or her academic standards.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child, please feel free to contact us.
